Au and Scoop (our old cat who passed away 2 years ago) once chased a monitor lizard into our house. When they cornered it in our bedroom they realised it was more than a meter long! they were very happy when I took them away and put them safely in the spare bedroom. Luckily monitor lizards don't like people much. I opened the window and it left - leaving large scuff marks on the side of the wall!
You're right Bruce - big lizards are not good pets for cats.

I'd stay away from them too! Princess the dog's nails aren't too far behind, she HATES to get manicures, so they will be done next Wed when she has surgery! They will take advantage of her being very SOUND asleep!
